    Coopah: your quilt is just great! Looks lovely on your porch with the beautiful blue sky behind. Would love a rest in that rocking chair lol!! It was 1* this a.m. here with a second blizzard on the way.

    Just think, next week ths time, we'll all be scrambling around to make our new quilts.

    Dee I don't know the name of the block I made. I just made 8- 4 1/2" flying geese and made 5- 4 1/2" solid blocks and sewed them together.

    Default Jewels with a twist of lime

    I finished my second top. The first one was dark and traditional, this one is called jewels with a twist of lime. Instead of starry sashing I added the 2 1/2 inch squares to the corners of the 12 inch blocks making a shoo fly effect.

    That's a really nice twist on the pattern -- I like your "twist of lime" That's a color combination I would never have come up with.
