Any ideas? Something that will make people think "hey, what's that all about?"

While we're at it - if this were local to you would you consider being a member?
most of my crafting goes to some local charity or some local person in need. Sorry to be so selfish, but I WILL know where my stuff goes--no one else will decide that for me.

Great names! I have been rethinking the butterfly name because even though it is subtle, it doesn't really say what the club is.

I really like the Giving Project and the Joy Project. There are some other names suggested that I also like but are also taken. Some of them are exactly the same but are associated with different groups in different states so I wonder if it matters if someone else has the name, or if I should register it. I think name registration is state-specific. On the other hand, I would like it to be original and not come up with anyone else on a google search.

The butterfly also is the symbol for Lupus along with the purple colour ribbon. It is used because of the hope/transformation aspect but also because many of us have the malar rash which looks like a butterfly across our nose and cheeks...think it probably is a bit nicer than the "wolf" connection (we have a wolf mask and the lesions were in past times said to look like wolf bites/scratches). Personally I like the wolf connection...but to each their own:)

Anyway, good luck with your naming quest....lots of good ideas from our fellow quilters.
