Thank you! Those color intensive bright quilts are fun to make. i find that I am very cheerful when making them.

I really like yellow, especially a soft buttery yellow and nice cheddar. I love scrappy quilts, so always include a bit of yellow. Here's are some baby quilts and my kitty's quilt with yellow.

I have enjoyed this "Mellow Yellow" quilt show. I use it alot & my quilt teacher also said not to--as the eye is drawn to it, takes away from the rest of the quilt. So what I like it! Remember in quilting you can do anything you want--there really isn't a quilt police.
