Hi I would love to see a picture of your paisley border. I am looking for a border pattern for a quilt I am making. Flo Woolsey

I like them. I get tired of all the florals.

Funny you should say that. I have a friend who worked in a fabric shop years ago and she said they all called paisley "sperm cloth". to this day when we are looking at fabric, that's what we call it. But we both love it. We just have to be careful not to say it to loudly!

I love WEARING it - - I have accidently happened on 3 different blouses (from thift shop finds at various times) and each time, I get appreciative comments - they are so fresh looking. Haven't tried to quilt or anything with them yet.

I do not know why but I find them very soothing in a way they blend with in their self. Doesn't take much more to go with them. I guess in one word for me would be

    HARMONIOUS :)

i find it very comforting. my father had paisley robes and
(whisper) paisley undershorts. in the 60's my dh had loads of paisley shirts with button down collars. my son wore a lot of paisley. stuck in the 60's with his mom, poor thing. never escaped.

    I never met a paisley I didn't like. Actually I don't see
them much anymore. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places
