I like the white, it seems to make everything pop and looks brighter.

I would go with the white first then the purple as a second border!

i like the white boarder but before you sew them together the top right block and bottom left block on the yellow backround are not put together right.
i would hate for to do all this work and then notice the mistake....blacks are beautiful by the way ~!!!!

I like the purple or white. Why not do purple as a sash and white as an outside border?

Thank you for all the suggestions. I have completed the top and now off to the long arm quilter. Whomever suggested to add a green stripe was helpful. Please see what I did. My husband voted for the white and I added the green, purple, teal borders.

Not perfect but made with love.

(ps. I corrected the blocks that were wrong! Thanks for finding them!)

Oh, Tcharlie this turned out BEAUTIFUL! I totally love the four different borders. Each color brings out a color in the stars. I'm sure your grandson and his wife will absolutely love this! Great job!!

The white seems to wash out your blocks, but, I really like the purple.
