I have a pattern for a teapot pincushion. It sits in a spool of thread. The name of the pattern is Tee Time Pincushions by Turkey Track Designs. Has 5 different ones to make: teapot, cat, buttercup, tomato, and sunflower.
**Sorry, I don't have a picture at the moment!*
When I use crushed walnut shells, I line the fabric with fusible interfacing. It keeps the shells in, and gives the project nice body.
I buy the shells at a pet store. Got a 10 or 12 lb. bag for about $10. :)

I have noticed that some people on the board are using crushed walnut shells. Just be aware of nut allergy problems with these. A nut allergy can kill, so please make sure that anyone you give or sell these to is aware of the nut content of the filling.
