Graph paper and a pencil is all you need. I square = 2,3,4,etc inches. Just try it , you will get adicted and the sky is the limit. Have fun

Yep, I'm the change your mind as you go person! The finished quilt never looks like the original plan, but usually is better anyway.

Constantly. I find it tedious to read the directions. I tend to go with what moves me or what I "think" it should look like.
Needless to say, it doesn't always turn out the way I would like it to.
