I did think it odd that there was so MUCH said about Princess Diana and so LITTLE said about Prince Charles and the other members of both families.
I do wish them well - I think their chances of a successful marriage are much better than they were for Charles and Diana.

I watched it till I had to leave for work. Love it...such a wonderful celebration, a real treat. I told my new hubby, this is one of those really special events. A new great generation, classy, educated and responsible not to mention real royalty. The Hollywood spoiled trust fund kids can't hold a class candle to the British monarchy. Most of all I wanted to see the dress and attendants dresses.

Yes, what the wedding cost could salvage a couple of starving nations. But, my neighbor's daughter was married a couple of years ago and her wedding cost $30,000.I find that incredible.
I enjoyed the pagentry of the ceremony - a 'majesty' that the Catholic church used to have.
Do you think we could forget about Diana? If I were Kate I'd feel ghoulish wearing her ring.
BTW what did you think about the hats? It looked like Eugenie and Beatrice got theirs at Oxfam!

Well, I had a great time watching the wedding. Especially critising all the weird outfits and hooraying the good ones. Did anyone see the daughters of Prince Andrew? Didn't they look dreadful? Especially the stag horn hat!! But theDRESS was gorgeous, and they looked so happy - nice ot have good news for a change.
