Reasons to quilt
#131
I just love creating, for fun, sanity, love fabric, colors, and most of all giving it as gifts to others who hopefully will smile when they think of me. I also like doing for charity if I can, sometimes just binding quilts that others make and don't like hand work. I just love quilting.

I quilt for fun, for my grand kids, my adult daughters AND myself ...
I don't quilt for beds. I make them to decorate my walls, hang on my upstairs railing to add color to my space and to hang on my quilt rack. I like to switch them out and around for change and by season or holiday.
FUN fun fun.

Mostly for fun, although sometimes it's specifically for a certain bed, or gift or whatever. But if it wasn't fun, I would have gone out to a store and spent less time, and less money and bought something!! C9P

I quilt for fun. I make them for myself, family and friends. I also do quilts for kids. I recently made one to be auctioned off, and all of it will go to the Shriner's Hospital. I do hope to sell some in the future, but still working on my skills.

Ummn, I have no idea why I do it really as I have never liked sewing per se however something drew me towards quilting one day after watching a quilting program on telly. I have never considered myself a crafty person though I have tried several crafts and for the most part enjoyed them. However I love quilting; though I will never be as good (creatively) as many others are not that it matters to me.

For fun. I have won a few ribbons but don't think my quilts are, by and large, show quality. I do enjoy giving gifts to people that really please them though and so most of them go that route. Besides, the whole process is fun.
