What a beautiful child! As an elementary Instructional Aide, if I got such a gift from the heart I would be moved to tears - repeatedly! Be glad this precious grand-daughter has such a giving heart. Keep lots of pictures, and then in a way, you have helped her "keep" her first quilt. She must have one awesome teacher, and she must be one awesome girl.

    Be proud!!!

Didn't have time to read all 9 pages, but just had to comment on her first quilt and all the corners matched up perfectly. You have a star on your hands.

Very pretty quilt!! I'm sure her teacher will be thrilled! She is a true quilter, you know. How many of us actually have a quilt that we made? Most are given as gifts.

She is adorable. The quilt is perfect. She should be very proud. So sweet wanting to give it to her teacher. Igave my granddaughter a machine at Christmas. But I live 3 hours away from her. We sew when she comes to visit. my daughter her mom doesn't sew ,no time. She is busy helping develope new insulins and diabetic drugs. I have taught my granddaughter one thing. Her dad cut his finger bad and my daughter sewed it up. She does sutures well. T he suture was blue in color and kendall says to her mom, don't you know your suppose to match the color of the thread to what your sewing.
