Here in the South we live with these temps every summer. The humidity is what makes it un-bearable. There is still August to get thru with 100+ actual temps and index. Air conditioners are as standard as bathrooms, a just have to have item.
One of the weather women said "the heat wave the people north of us is having is just everyday weather for us". Pray YOU get back to what is "normal" for you all, THIS IS normal for us.

A friend shared this and I thought it worth passing along here:
I was going to complain about how hot it is, then I realized that: 1.) It isn't 109 degrees; 2.) I'm not 5,700 miles from home; 3.) I'm not dressed in a full BDU uniform and helmet and carrying 70+ lbs.; and 4.) There is very little chance that anyone will shoot at me or that I might drive over a bomb in the road today! Thanks to all who serve.

I got up at 5:30 this morning and took my dog out as usual. My glasses immediately steamed up and the heat just took my breath away as I was opening the door. I thought I was gonna have to go back in and get a butcher knife to use to cut a hole in the air just so I could stick my head through to breathe!
