I LOVE it! As a beginner still, I might be happy just reading the pattern. Have never done paper piecing and really don't know how it works. Someday though....................

    Default Beautiful wreath

I hear tell I had to relearn everything, but somehow this sewing knowledge remained.
But doing PP used the same part of my brain that is used to replace the little plastic dohickey on the dishwasher. I still can't figure out the twists and turns it has to go through to be put on there properly. It's something that would have been no problem before the accident, but is a good example of what I deal with now
PP uses whatever part of my brain that's used for that, so I was pretty proud I could get through this.
I firmly believe in taxing my brain, to keep it working and constantly try to make it do things that are difficult
Your PP wreath is really one of the prettiest I have seen.

I know all too well about your relearning. A few years back I had encephalitis. I had to do quite a bit of relearning too. The first thing I did when I came home was pick up a piece of applique to see if I could still do it. Thankfully I could. We can both keep taxing our brains!!!

    Hugs to you,

Love it. Not into paper piecing. tried it once and made such a mess I said no more. I do the regular blocks and try some other things, but my brain must freeze up when it comes to that. You have a storm door on to protect it so it should last you many years. And be very welcoming.

    Thumbs up

I love it, makes me want to make one. Where can I get the pattern? It really looks great on that beautiful wood door.
