Oh, I forgot to add, the reason I said that about my brain in my original post:
3 1/2 years ago I was in a car accident, was in a coma for 2 weeks, and had a 'traumatic brain injury'
I hear tell I had to relearn everything, but somehow this sewing knowledge remained.
But doing PP used the same part of my brain that is used to replace the little plastic dohickey on the dishwasher. I still can't figure out the twists and turns it has to go through to be put on there properly. It's something that would have been no problem before the accident, but is a good example of what I deal with now
PP uses whatever part of my brain that's used for that, so I was pretty proud I could get through this.
I firmly believe in taxing my brain, to keep it working and constantly try to make it do things that are difficult

I know all too well about your relearning. A few years back I had encephalitis. I had to do quite a bit of relearning too. The first thing I did when I came home was pick up a piece of applique to see if I could still do it. Thankfully I could. We can both keep taxing our brains!!!
Hugs to you,

Love it. Not into paper piecing. tried it once and made such a mess I said no more. I do the regular blocks and try some other things, but my brain must freeze up when it comes to that. You have a storm door on to protect it so it should last you many years. And be very welcoming.
