    Not to be rude, but did you have a typo when you stated that you had 336 geese, one for each day of the year? You mentioned the leap geese so I was figuring it must be a typo.
    There are actually 365 days of the year, except on leap years when we have 366.
    Either way it is a very pretty quilt. You could always tell your sister that you put the couple of flights of geese in the wrong direction for good luck just as the Amish do. lol

    Your quilt is so original and it's absolutely stunning. Every flock of geese has a wayward goose along the way so I'd say that makes your wayward geese 'spot-on'. I think this is just a lovely quilt and surely will be treasured by your sister.
