    Default True blue friendship quilt

About a year ago a bunch of the ladies on the doll quilt swap sent me two quilts and left over blocks from making them ... Just want you to know that i put those blocks together and sent them to a friend who is going through a very hard chemo for lung cancer ..... I have my quilts with me all the time .... One on my recliner and one on my bed .... I love them and just wanted any of you who are left here that your blue blocks have been put together and are comforting another cancer patient ..... You are amazing ladies and i cherish everyone of you .... And now yet another cancer patient has been blessed by your kindness ..... Thanks so much ....cqr

Nice you could do something with the extra blocks and pass it forward. I'm sure she loves the quilt!

Thanks for posting the picture, Robin! I got sick and didn't go to the office, where I can post a picture during a break.

The quilt from the doll quilters is beautiful! So glad you have it.

CQR, I am so happy to see and hear you are feeling so well! I love what you did with the extra blocks and how awesome you sent it to another sick friend! I am touched you even kept the card I sent you along with the extra blocks! Also happy that the quilts bring you comfort. Amazed that I sent those on to you 8 months ago already! Take care dear quilting friend.

Cogito, so glad to hear from you. I am doing good ..I am taking a trial drug now .... if it works like we hope it will it will be a long term remission drug for lymphoma, non hodgkins lymphoma, leukemia, and other cancers of the blood ..... I've been taking it for 2 months .... not a lot of side effects .... and it seems to be working .... had a CT scan today and we will find out Monday ..... everyone say a prayer for the folks this can help .... this is phase 2 of the trial ...... God be willing this will do for so many so much ..... and I do love my friends here ..... and my friend with lung cancer is doing better ...she says its all the love in that quilt .... I agree ........ CQRobin
