Kathryn , those are really pretty. I just love FQ's. They give you a chance to have lots of fabric without a lot of expense .

Are we doing anything with the "bonus triangles" trimmed from the corners?

You may do whatever you like with them, they will not be incorporated into this quilt. Me, I discard pieces this small.

I stopped at the fabric store on my way home and picked up a few more options. I'm going to really miss this place when they are gone, but right now it's fun taking advantage of 30% off.

The bad part - I decided to stop on my way home after I was at work, so I didn't bring anything with me.

I got the blue because I knew it would work, if I decided the other two didn't after all.

I was hoping this fabric would work, but think the red may not go as well as I hoped. But I love it anyway.

And then this black/grey/white print. I think right now I'm liking this the best.

The main reason I don't want to go with the gold in the first group is I have several red/gold quilts already. I guess I like that combination, but want something different this time.

I'm going to do gray & teal. That's my son's colors for his new house. In the middle of cleaning out my sewing room now so it will have to wait another day or two. Then again, that's a never ending job.

Macy my vote is for the black print, I think it will be great. When you cut the 4-1/2" blocks, try and get them to have as much black in the block as possible. Next week, it won't matter as much when you use your background.

    Thanks Judy!

I have to be in the office the rest of the week, so I think I'll just wait until the next clue to cut into it.
