 Now, if only the threads on my clothes could be explained without this remark being made..."oh, you cut up new fabrics to make something else?" I just find myself trying not to wear dark clothing. Isn't it great to be able to adapt? If only someone could tell me when enough fabric is enough...seems another shade is always needed, right?

Hi, I post once in a while. Most of the time I am learning from you all or my answer or suggestion has already been posted. But I still love to read them and the fact I can learn so much. I have only been quilting for about 2 years although I have sewn for about 60. I even had my own alterations business for 11 years and taught 4-H sewing, knitting and crocheting for 2o years.

Hello, I reallllllllllly enjoy this site. Looking at quilts is a favorite thing for me. There are beautiful examples on here and I enjoy reading the comments and tips. I haven't been a quilter very long and I don't get to quilt very much but I do enjoy looking at quilts and trying to make different blocks.

I've been a lurker for about 3 mo. After seeing all the beautiful work others produce I don't think I have much to offer. I enjoy the questions others ask and drink in all the information I can get. I appreciate this site so very much. If ever I am able to add anything, I sure will. I am working on a 'card trick' quilt now. Having a hard time with the colors and lining up borders. Our New Dog is eyeing it. I am sure she has plans for it. Best wishes to all.
