    I was thinking the same thing myself. Something like "Victorian ..." We should have a contest to come up with a name that describes these exquisite mats for lovely china cups.

    They are very pretty. I agree that "mug rug" just doesn't fit. What about "Tea mates" or "China doilies" ?

    What a beautiful china quilt! The fabric matches the cups elegantly. Very pretty. You can tell you worked hard on them.
