The stenciling reminds me of black stenciled wooden chairs and tables back in the 60s/70s. I always wanted a set, but couldn't afford it back then. When I finally had the money, they were no longer a hot item. Anyone remember the name of the furniture?

I live in the Bay Area, and I look daily at CLs. If I remember correctly, the person was asking around $150 for Heyjami's chain stitcher. Two weeks prior to that posting another machine like hers was listed for $75 on CL. I'm noticing that folks are asking more for machines now. Here is a very rare and unique machine on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/220744676471.

I just got to reading these posts today (haven't been very active on this board due to work)...I've seen pics of the Willcox & Gibbs machine some time back when I was looking at a history of the sewing machine...she is truly a lovely girl! Enjoy yourselves!

Hello, I hope you don't mind me popping in with my questions. This thread came up in a search while I was trying to research my advertising spoon before I list it.

My spoon says F.C. Henderson Company Boston Mass. Noiseless Certified Sew Machines. At first I thought Henderson was the manufacturer, but now I'm wondering if Henderson is the supplier? Any thoughts on this ad spoon would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

PS: Love how you name your sewing machines. I'm in The Vintage Tablecloth Lovers Club and we name our mangles!
