I think I am the only one who thinks the dress was a bit poorly made. What the heck was wrong with the bodice? To me it looked like she was wearing one of those cone bras from the 50's and didn't have enough to fill it out, so it was all crumply under the dress. All I saw was lumpy fabric and tugging at the bodice. The rest of it was beautiful, but the bodice was a disaster. Seems like with all the money she spent on it, the bodice would be smooth and well shaped. She seriously looked like she needed to stuff that bra!
Kate was a Beautiful bride - but she is TOO thin and I agree, it looked like a 1950's artificial bustline ! She's naturally tall and slim, but supposedly weighs just 120 now. She's lost more weight the last 2 yrs. She went from a size 6 to a 2 ?? That's almost anorexic-model size /weight. At 5-10 she should weigh 135-140 Hope she doesn't follow the bulimic route of Diana, always afraid of the camera's eye ...

It just seemed odd that William had his back turned to the bride until she reached the altar.

I'll try to find the link again and post it.

PKWARD - you said it all beautifully. Let's not any of us find fault with this wonderful celebration. Our world is in turmoil and it is just what all of us needed to pull us out of the doldrums. Thank you so much for posting such an eloquent message.

They did a second longer kiss a few minutes later, and I saw William say "another one?" after that but the camera turned, so I don't know if they did a 3rd one or not.
I was surprised to see Prince Phillip smiling at Camilla and even kissed her on the cheek just before they walked to their chairs for the wedding. All I ever read is how much she's hated by them all. Must not be true. Maybe they're just on their best behavior for the cameras.
Another thing that surprised me is they wore their swords into the church. I know the swords are only ceremonial but I didn't think any "weapon" was allowed in a christian church.
Don't think the royals hate Camilla merely what went on ; she has certainly seemed to have sorted Charles into shape and think that they are grateful for this, the boys also really like her too.
