    I like #2 best, but they are all really cool! I don't know why, just because that's what my brain says!

    I like the 2 'X' versions, but I would 'lose' the 'loose' HSTs in top, bottom and left center blocks. I think th 'X' versions show the Esher illusion best, and I don't see a diference btw the 2 versions.

    I like #4. I like how the steps weave in and out. I also like the grey blocks interspersed into the blue blocks. Btw, I also like Escher as well. It would be fun to make a quilt like this.

    I think #1 is the most fascinating. I looked at it closely to see how it was done. What colors are you going to use?

    I liked #2 best. Could you possibly do the direction of the blocks a little more random. Most escher prints I remember are a little wonkier.

    I am a non-symmetrical person 99% of the time, but I chose #1 because it is cleaner, clearer, and evenly placed.

    Its a tie between 1 and 3. If forced, I'd choose 1. But whichever one you make that you don't give to DH, you can send it to me. They're gorgeous.
