This is the quilt on our bed....."While I was pregnant with Kristin - 1980 quilt". UFO, I just recently completed it in September. My daugther will be 30 in December.

We did have a Half Quarter Log cabin Wedding quilt on it that I completed in 2007 before we got married.

We have 2 small dogs but they don't have access to the bed. However.........My husband has a long haired siamese that he started sleeping with him as a kitten. She is now 13 or 14 yrs old and so we sleep under a "fur" blanket no matter what else is on the bed. I bought a really nicely made quilt top that is like 126" sq at an estate sale, had it quilted and put it on the bed. Much to my dismay, it got so full of cat hair that it is impossible to clean off or even launder so it is back to something light that can be stuffed in the washer regularly. She is his cat and sleeps on his arm or draped over his pillow....untill I get to bed. Then she sleeps above my pillow or under the covers at my back. I have told him no more cats in our bedroom so I will have to wait till she is gone to kittie heaven before I put another quilt on our bed.

I have a king down quilt on my double bed. I don't sleep with my husband (he is a bed hog and also snores. He bought the spread to go on the king size and he says it's to heavy so I'm using it on my bed.

I change the quilts as the mood strikes me and here's a photo of the one currently on the bed - will soon change it to the Christmas quilt.
I truly love this quilt!!! It is amazing and so my style. Good taste.

A quilt, bed skirt, curtains and scallop valances all that match. With another quilt underneath. In fact, I think it may be the second one I ever made

must confess have a store bought via goodwill quilt on my bed - well sort of on my bed - if i ever actually MADE my bed it would be on it - always mean to go back and make it but get started doing something else and forget. both my daughters have theirs on their beds which makes me happy of course, but my son does not - not sure where he uses it but kind of sad as it was a wedding gift.

I am working on a quilt for my bed - but until then I have two quilts that DH's grandmother made - hand quilted but "cheater" fabrics. They're very pretty, but I want something of my own as well, to switch out with.
