I am wondering why it has to be something different? There are so many people in the swap that there can be a couple repeats can't there?

Hi. The reason that is put into the information is we don't know how many will sign up for the swap. If there are only 12 swappers and 2 people do the same block then everyone would get 2 of the same block....... see what I mean?? Obviously they would be with different fabrics, but most people want different blocks from a swap. I hope this helps. Since we have a lot of swappers, I don't have a problem with some doing the same blocks. I will just do my best to make sure that no one gets duplicates. (How is that??)

    Blessings!!

Thanks, Carole, for fine response to the question of multiple block patterns. It sounds like a logical progressive step that indicates the level of success of this Red, White, and Blue swap! Another way to achieve making a duplicate is to sign on for "Additional Swaps" and there can be private exchanges between individuals. I like this alternative, and have had some really GREAT!!!! Extra Swaps in the Monthly Quilting Bee Block Exchange.

Dotty: I received your blocks today and they are beautiful!! You did not have to send fqs along with the blocks. I'm telling you that everyone will be very, very pleased with your blocks!!
