    Yes, I am able to use the lever to raise the presser foot. I made sure we building the counter top to accommodate the lever.

    If I need extra counter top space for quilting, then I can move my ironing board in front of my sewing machine and make it the same height as my counter.

    Very Very Nice Room. You are very Lucky. I am :mrgreen: :mrgreen: with envy. When can I come over & play (I mean Sew) in your new room??? Thanks for sharing your pics. It is WONDERFUL.
