...and here I thought I was one of only a few people who have an aversion to wearing shoes inside!

I think I am supposed to live on some island where there is sun and sand all the time. The first thing I do when I get home is take my shoes off. I don't like shoes and don't wear them unless I have to.
Especially at the sewing machine. ;-)

Barefoot most of the time in the house. I use my toes to the pedal as well. Even sewing classes, I slip the shoe off. This was a fun read.

Oh I so relate to this thread. I hate shoes and always have. Bare foot is the only way to be but when I moved to AZ 23 yrs. ago I thought I'd have to wear shoes again outside but a lass I have toughened my feet to with stand 100 degrees. Anything over 100 requires flip flops, dang that cement can get hot!!!. I sew barefoot and when the tile floors get cold in the winter I put on footsie socks to keep the piggies warm but still no shoes.

I wear slippers in the winter, flipflops in the summer.
Why would it matter how you sew barefooted. (to feel the pedal better?) Do you drive barefooted?
