Wonderful blocks, Lstew. I like the colors.
I was given a box of batiks to turn in to pillow cases. Well.....I have cut 19 and likely will have about that many more. These items will go to one of the local hospitals and to one of the larger women's shelters. Both organizations allow the patients and residents to take their pillow case home, so there will always be a need for more.
Everyone, stay safe. Have a happy day!

Whoa, SBG! You got started fast. Love your flying zebras! lol. I didn’t see this fabric up close and personal when I was sorting but it’s so fun. Mjp’s and Duckling’s blocks are wonderful and are giving me ideas. Those two were stumping me. Great blocks.
We’re supposed to be getting rain in the next few days but it’s looking like the chances are dropping. Not good. We’re now under water restrictions and are to cut back usage. Living in SoCal for 13 years taught us how to conserve and we’ve never wavered from that. It’ll be hard to cut back but we’ll try.
I’m off to peruse patterns. Have a grand day.

Great block.
Janice, Bloomer Boomers made me crack up. I had mouthful of coffee.
Great block, This gives me some direction also. Thanks
All of these blocks are wonderful. Stunning.
I was able to open the little baggies and read all the notes. Great Day, I get to go shopping as I do not have enough solid white of WOW. Let's see what else I can come home with. Happy Day.
Praying for Rain to all those who need it. We are getting rain today, but I am sure it won't be enough.
Good morning, Bloomer Boomers. It’s a lovely cool morning but we’re hoping for rain in the coming days. This drought is serious. Wildfires are beginning to pop up.
am happy to hear your F8s are being delivered. Too bad some didn’t make it into mailboxes but fingers are crossed for today. Everyone should have theirs shortly.
Ernie has perked up since DH got home yesterday. SBG, you’re spot on about going “all in” on our pets. To us, there’s no other way to do it since they’re family members.
“Our” hummingbirds are showing up in a big way now. They were scrawny little birds but they’re already plumping up.
Have a grand weekend. If you’re in the drought, I hope you get rain.

Janice Before we left for the graduation yesterday I opened my package and all my lovely packages were there.
Janice love your block for HAV it has great bold colors.
Sewbiz your are off and running. All the blocks are wonderful. The flying zebras are a hoot.
Drive here was nice, no rain and very little road construction, which is always a big plus. University of Mary is in a beautiful location, the flat lands turn slowly into bluffs, the Missouri River flows by and the school is nestled in a serene area.
We attended her awards ceremony, toured the campus and went out to dinner. It was so strange seeing her old enough to have a Margarita.
