I am fixing to start cutting out a "Snails Trail" out of my "Going Green stash" but not sure how big of a quilt I will make. Its going to be a Burgundy floral with a Pink solid.

Yeah I forgot about this thread, and I am the one who started it LOL!!

Since I have been busy with the Virtual Section and the Vintage Sewing Machine Shop I have not been able to work much on the quilts I have going. So I will post a block of a snails trail I am working on. Of course it is done on a treadle (really is there any other kind of machine?).

nice snails trail, Billy. I got one (a block) as a gift recently. I like them. I plan to make a scrappy one. Can't wait to see yours finished. I also love the other thread about antique sewing machines. I've been following every word. I have a FW 221 from 1948 being held for me til I get the money together. I posted pics. Can't wait to get it and start sewing on it!!!

Sounds like you might be a little excited about the 221 there!!!! Congratulations on the purchase and I can not wait to see what quilt you make with it!!!

And thank you for coming by the Shop and hanging out with us!! I look forward to seeing more of you there. And you do know now since you have your first machine that they will be following you home left and right!!
