    My avatar is connected to a story my grandmother told me when I was a youngster about an ancestor named Moon Holladay, coupled with my fascination with the night sky and the moon. When I came across the phases of the moon photo I felt compelled to use it.

    Mine is Floppy, our chihuahua cocker spaniel mix, she's 18-1/2 years old, not on any meds, and still cute and perking right along.
