I'm sure your husband is looking down from heaven and is very proud of you! Losing a loved one zaps the energy out of a person. Being busy and constructive helps time go by...and time heals the pain. Your quilts are absolutely beautiful. Keep on quilting! Hugs to you!

So sorry for your loss. It's a blessing to have a supportive family that will remind you to interact with friends and family, that's an important part of moving forward too. You're quilting is beautiful and many many women have used quilting as an outlet to comfort them during difficult days. Treasure your memories as you create new ones. Blessings to you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost a husband to cancer in 1996. Although I still miss him after all these years, my life has gone on, and I have been remarried for 9 years. I know I'll see him again in Heaven when I get there....when he was sick he told me where to meet him there!! :-)

Ladies, I want to thank you all for your lovely and concerned comments. Unfortunately, my twin sister broke her leg the end of April(her husband has Parkinsons and falls backwards and he fell on her) so I had been driving down to her place every 3 or 4 days and stayig with her for 3 days getting groceries and taking care of her dog for 3 weeks. Now I go down 2-3 times a month for a couple days each to take her or my BIL to Dr. appts. and stock them up on frozen dinners, etc.
I hope that those of you that mentioned that your husbands or family members are seriously ill, I hope they are still with you.

So sorry about your loss, hope your sister and her husband are doing better. So kind of you to help her. Your quilts are lovely. Just put your arms around yourself and squeeze that's me giving you a great big hug. God Bless. BrendaK
