Well I finally finished one of two pincushions. Took me a few evenings, but I was able to make my own quirky little pincushion. Hope one of my partners has a sense of humor I can almost guarantee my pincushion pal doesn't have one like this, but you never know as for the second one it's at least cut out and I started to embroider on it. I hope my partners like what I send! You are both south of me, and maybe a little west. That's easy to say though because you don't get more north east than where I am!

lynnie - it's not what the car I wanted but it will do for a few years hopefully. I got a '13 Malibu - used - but it only had 5000 miles so I said it's almost new. I had a Saturn Vue AWD that is very close to 192000 miles. With a son that has practice, game, practice, etc. I needed something I could trust for driving long distances. Haven't had a car payment in almost 5 years so I'm a little sick about the whole thing. Now I've got the car that will go, but can't afford to do anything. LOL.
jami - hopefully that pincushion is winging its way right to my house! Also - you can order boxes and stuff from USPS.com for free. Somebody on the QB gave me that little tidbit a few months ago. I have an assortment of all sizes now. I do still grab small boxes from work too so maybe start stockpiling from your job or hubby's. Your rings ended up being something I didn't expect. Too cute!
I should be able to get mine out today. *crosses fingers* Everybody have a great day!

Sounds like a lot of busy fingers and creative minds are out there working hard. Look forward to see all the goodies.

Please, don't forget to let me know when you ship out your package, and to include the tracing number. Thanks.

to my two partners, open your windows, the turkeys are flying and landing tomorrow. DO NOT believe a word they say about animal abuse or such nonsense. I did to put their wings and legs back on! all that mish mosh about getting wings and legs mixed up, and going to KFC for replacement parts, jeese, such nonsense. those darn turkeys. and to think I took such good care of them to, not letting Zoey nibble at their wings, and her sharing her bed with them!!!!
soooo, do not believe them when they say I stuck them with pins and such.

old rosebud, isn't it always the same old story, you have the money but no place to go, or you have the time and no money...the story of my life. enjoy your new car, and congrats. (don't you hate that car payment b.s. really ruins the fun of a new car)

Not only do I have a good sense of humor but a warped one. Really warped. Hope that cushion is coming this way.

I went to a friends today, a fellow qb member, and finished my second January pc. i'm done with December, half done (1) with February and now working on a summerish one. I hope I can get what I need for march and April.
My goal is to get them mostly done by march and have them in their envelops by then also, so all I need to do is address them. anyone have suggestions for May and June??? I'm up to the challenge.

Hey Mdall, your sense of humor is on my level, what should I do next???

Ok I worked some more on my pincushion. Now remember that we were to state whether we wanted a theme one or not. Well my secret person said no theme. I mean I guess for November. But! Remember that in some places in the world people are out on a beach in November. Is that not true????? lol.... Well, just remember that. I just hope my special person will like it. I am not very experienced in these little cushies. I am not all that creative either, but I did my best.
