Batiks - please help me choose!

A big thank you to everyone who commented on the batik pictures.
Now the tricky question...
Nicely done batiks are probably the most expensive fabrics for a shop to buy.
Would $8.50 / yard be too much to ask, do you think?
Be honest please. I don't want to make a mistake...

Our minimum cut has always been 1/4 yard... that way you can afford to play with even more!
But mostly, we decided on the 1/4 yard cut so that you don't have to buy more than you really need. Most of us have limited space (and limited funds).
