OMG I am working on a quilt for my new great grandson and it is almost identical to yours! I used the same colors, but fussy cut cars, trains and trucks in blue. They are rectangle shape instead of square so I found that you can use rectangles instead of squares in the nine patch. It makes the quilt look a little different. I love your quilt.
