They're beautiful!! Ask her if she can make you some "plain" blocks---like all green ones of the same fabric for the "grass" blocks to surround the "flowers". I have a GFG in process---for at least 10 years- I have the "flowers", then the "grass" row and then the "white picket fence" row after that. It's almost done!! Maybe this year! Good Luck!

How about asking her if she'd like you to bring a solid color for the "garden path" that traditionally goes all over around the flowers, and let her pick the color? If she's still interested in making them, I'll bet she'd like to do some of those background ones, too. I've barely made a few hexagons, and I'm just amazed that your dear mom has done so many, so very well. She's a whiz!

May God bless your mother's heart yet, some more!

What a treasure of lovely work she has done for you, You are a blessed person by still having your mom.

Sadly I lost mine 27 years ago. Enjoy her gift to you. :-D

As a person who also suffers from RA I can readily say 'wow' and 'great job'. Hand work is what I love and it is sometimes very hard to get past the pain and discomfort. Kudos to your mom for hanging in there.

I am working on a grandmother's flower garden currently. You are so lucky to be in possession of such beautiful blocks. They are absolutely wonderful.
