    Queenbarbie - love those dogs! great fussy work even in the corner "snapshots". I'm a cat lover but love those dogs too!

    Here's my first March block. I cut the center pieces on the bias, then sewed the seam a little bit too big on them, but not wanting to fix the seam just went on. No one to please but myself on this top! And I feel confident I can set the block and with quilting the wackiness won't be that noticeable. I set the center like a 4patch posey. I'm not keen on the placement in the directions.

    I haven't found a center fabric for my second set of blocks yet. I thought I could use something, but it didn't have enough contrast to be interesting, so back to the drawing board.

    SBG, thanks! I've had that fabric since I was in high school. I made a dress from it in a frontier style to use at a western ranch summer camp. I left it there after the summer was over to augment their costume collection. It's one of those scraps with a memory attached to it...

    Here's my second block. I couldn't find anything suitable with 4 repeats, so used two.
