Here is my #9. I am dissapointed of myself. I thought that being all half squares it was going to be an easy one. Well, it was easy but didn't come up nice. Plus I had a hard time with the iron to make it flat.
Ah, I chose a batik purple and thought it was going to be interesting but didn't like it at all. I might re-do it at the end. For now I have to catch up.

    # 9 box- dissapointing block!

I think it looks great! Remember that 1/4" will be coming off all the edges with the sashing. I too get disappointed with my blocks, but I have learned that we are all too critical of ourselves.

I also seem to dislike some of the things I make but by the time the project is done, I end up liking it!!

Leakus, I love the pink and purple combination! I, too, have blocks that I don't particularly like, but when laid out with the others it doesn't look quite as ugly and in the end I'm hoping it will sort of "disappear" amongst all the ones that have passed my critical eye test. :)

Don't be so hard on yourself. I have had to rip out several and some just stayed the way the ended up. I think it looks nice. I still haven't picked my sashing fabric yet.

Thanks for your responses regarding my ugly block. I'll let it sit until all are done and I might not even remember which one it was...
mkklynn- well done. I am behind you now. Must do #10
