    My, My, My!.... If this is how you normally draw and design things, then you have a future as a brilliant folk artist. Don't go changing those ears. Everything is perfect. Make a bunch more and offer them for sale and people will snap up those babies!

    That's exactly right! Mess with the ears and you might lose the whimsy. Your drawing is so appealing because it captures the whimsy of a dachshund and striving for realism would take away from that.
