Wonderful pattern and finished quilt block is amazing!
I don't have a barn, but I have been thinking of a pattern to use to make one to use on the side of my house. In the Appalachian area of NC they have a tour of barn quilts throughout the country-side.

Dad cut the wood, I drew the design, and she, who loves to paint, chose the colors and did the painting. We had a really fun day when she came out and sat with me in my sewing room...me with my fabrics and her with her crayons. She must have colored that block with every possibility before choosing her favorite combo. This weekend Dad went to her house and hung it on her barn.
