December Mug Rug Swap
#184
I also wanted to say how sad I am on the news about Linda. Unfortunately I did not get to meet Linda, reading everyone's comments she sounds like an amazing woman and a great friend to everyone that knows her.
I would still like to make a mini quilt in her memory if that is ok?

Yes, I'm sure that's fine, Irene. I think jaba is handling the mini quilts; is that right, jaba? Or are people supposed to give to their local hospice in Linda's name? I need to get this right, since I will also make a mini quilt & need to know where to send it! If it's a local hospice, that will be easy, as I work for the local VNA & Hospice.

Dec. Mug Rug
Got my rug mug from Jeanne49 today. A very nice rug in my favorite colors with some tea packets, I am a tea drinker, never learn to drink coffee. Also in the package was a pattern for a quilt and a cute cloth box.
According to UPS, Jeanne got my swap earlier in the week. Maybe she can't post a pic, if not I will in a couple of days.

I was thinking -- it would have more meaning if the mini quilts were sent to jaba -- if she agrees -- so that the hospice Linda is in could get them. They're being made in her honor, & it would make sense to have them there, since they know her. Just a thought. Jaba has the last word on this!
