Wow, I just posted a picture of a quilt I am competing and was looking for suggestions for a border. I need to add 19 inches for that and wasn't sure how to finish it. I was so surprised when I found this site. I borrowed the book from my daughter to make this and love, love, love it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me on a border? I hope it is OK for me to post this here.

Your quilt is going to be beautiful! If you need to add 19" you could add three borders: 3", 1.5" and 5". That will give you a total of 19" all around. I hope this helps.

Here is my Michigan star. This one was time consuming, with 128 pieces!

The part for my printer came today so I can print out my papers to sew. They also sent me new in cartridges for free. I need to send them the old part and ink cartridges back. So I am going to print a ton while I have the old cartridges. I had some color stuff I wanted to print but it was a lot. I have pretty much used all of the color ink. Now I won't have to pay to print it. I also have a big print job to do for my uncle. I will print until the ink is gone, then send them back. I am going to finish a t-shirt quilt tonight I hope then back to my stars.
