    The fitted sheet is a great idea. I need to make one, too, and this is how I'm going to try it. Thanks!

    My daughter has asked me to make one for her bed and I was lost. I love the fitted sheet idea. I'm going to use that one.

    I just go to the thrift store and buy a dust ruffle in the color I need.

    that's how I did mine! much easier to change when it was time, easier to store, and I found it worked just fine. Easier to sew too, not so much fabric to handle.

    That's how I do mine , no more wrestling with the mattress. It's much easier to wash and put back on!
