    The actual quilt was pieced 70+ years ago. Kay's mother did the work, and Kay contacted me and asked if I would finish it for her daughter's 1st baby who is arriving on April 1st. The 2 hearts are a symbol of the efforts made by great grandmother and grandmother for this newest member of the family.

    Thanks for the suggestion as I am always looking for a better way to hand quilt. I blasted through the end of my favorite thimble finishing up this project.
