Thank you everyone for the nice comments and the welcome.I'm from Canada.I have been quilting for 10 years but still consider myself an amateur. Like most quilters, I do quilts for pleasure and as gifts.I like to put a pattern together but once the top is done I lose interest and have to push myself to finish it. I have a small sewing machine and machine- quilting is a chore for me. I prefer hand quilting but it's time-consuming.Would like to be able to afford to get someone else to do the actual quilting. Right now, I am working on a bear-paw quilt.I have so many patterns I want to try-I'll never do them all. LOL. The Tiddlywinks is a pattern from a magazine-probably Quilter or F& P. I can't seem to find the mag,but I'll check and let you know. Happy Quilting.
