I am making a large one in a retreat next week. Spent all day yesterday getting the blocks ready so all we have to do in class is cut and sew. I am making a queen size. I hope I have not started a project that is too large for the first time. I am using layer cakes from Modas cotton blossom line.

I love all your samples too, but I really love the 3rd one. That splash of colour is fantastic.

    Like all the samples.
Each are special. Let us know
which one is picked and how
    your class went.

Any chance of someone showing what the tool looks like so I can find it. These quilts are cute. I also like your colors

Today I take them in and let her choose the one she wants to use as an advertising demo. Finished them last night. Let me know what you think.
What size block did you start with for these? What is the finished size? Is this a table topper (Little blocks?) or a lap size quilt (big blocks?)
The blocks are 5", the finished size of this project is 24" square. These are the little blocks.

I like 2 and 4 - 1 and 3 are hard to define the middle block

I hope this helps. Tried to find a background that would show the templates.
