I love these stories! I can relate to this both as the mail person (as I use to deliver mail) and as the quilter at home waiting on fabric. When they are delivery mail their mind is so on that, that you can startle them coming out of no where.lol However, when I order fabric yesterday....I want it yesterday. roflol!

Me too, I get so impatient to get my packages through the mail.

I haven't stalked the mail man..yet. But I have made him some cookies for being such a good sport about all the heavy sewing machines he had to lug around. He did ask me how many more I was going to get after the forth one.

I have never stalked the mail man :) But one day he was yelling at me pretty frantically. I was worried something was wrong and ran up to met him. Apparently he thought I was leaving. He wanted to catch me before I left so the package wasn't left on my front step!

Are you kidding - I call my post office and hunt down the UPS truck - but I live in a very rural area so I am not the only one - we don't make unnecessary trips.

Am I the only one out there that has "hunted" down a mail carrier to see if a package has come yet? Or am I the freak that my hubby thinks I am? I know that I am a little "wierd" but have I gone over the deep end?
I do it all the time. I even have my UPS driver's cell number in my cell phone, and have arranged to meet him somewhere he's delivering if I don't want to wait til he gets out to my neck of the woods!

Nope. I do it all the time if I am waiting on a delivery and I am going to be away from the house for a couple of hours.
