I should feel guilty, but with my late husband I could always look really sad and it worked every time.

Maybe the Easter Bunny could bring you one or, your son could give you one for Mother's day or, you could give your hubby one as gift.

very few people can say no to a kitten - they're too much fun - I agee, forgiveness is easier to ask for than permission - go for it

Tell him you are the proud grand-parents of adorable fur babies. Fix his favorite supper and let him know you are keeping one.

Mother's day is soon, hey come to think about it..it's about 6 or 7 weeks away..just about the time a kitten can be taken away from it's Momma......you couldn't think of returning a "gift" from your son!! Maybe you could put in your order for the kitty..you know times are rough right now and everyone's money is tight..it would be an inexpensive gift for your son and one you would love!!..good luck..Linda B.

Do you know why he'd object to having a cat? If so, can you find a way to overcome his objections?

Alternatively, you could tell him you're taking two of the cats, and when he goes, "Two! You can't have two cats!!" you throw your arms around him and say, "Okay, darling, I'll just take one."

Don't ask. Sometimes it is better to beg forgiveness than ask permission. LOL

I vote for a Mother's Day gift....that way hubby really can't say anything about it. Siamese are soooo much fun; we fostered a new mom with a litter of four a few years ago. Disappointed when they were all white at birth (we didn't know it would change!) but the two we've kept up with are now gorgeous deep tan with chocolate accents.
