o usuallly do on the straps but the bottoms and straps on both of these are duck cloth the pink was actually from the remenamt bin at joanns i think i pd like 2 bucks for it and the pockets on these were a tut i found here this is the best way i have found to do pockets http://www.hookedonneedles.com/2009/...-2-inside.html you just do the stichting for each pocket the size you need for the lip balm i sewed down 2 sides and then across and yes i hate digging for mine too lol and the whole idea for the purse came from here i just enlarged them
