My granddaughter is soccer crazy and picked out some soccer fabric at WalMart one day that I promptly forgot about. As she was preparing for her next visit to my place, her mom informed me that the plan was for us to make her soccer quilt. I didn't like the fabric much and there wasn't nearly enough to make a quilt, so I found more patterns and cut up a brick wall pattern that she could do a lot of the sewing on. For a 7-yr-old, she didn't do pretty a half-bad job.
