I like normally to have more than one border to reflect the main colors. Your choice i think for the first black was great and i would do a wider brown to match most of the quilt. It looks really nice, and your choice of colors is beautiful.

Thank you SO much everyone ... for all the comments and border suggestions! I'll keep reading the ideas, and checking out my stash!

I like Amandagramma's suggestion of a narrow cream (probably a 1/2"-1" finished) and then a wider (perhaps a 5 1/2" finished) red/orange (the same color as in the blocks). Guess it really depends on how large you want the quilt. Do like your color/fabric selection for this quilt. D9P and/or D4P are on my "list of to-do's". Surely hope you'll post the finished quilt.

I would add another larger border. I think one of the oranges or a tan would look great. Nice looking quilt.

I love this idea - then bind in black! I think it's stunning.

You've chosen my colours ... so easy for me to admire it!

It's a fun and easy pattern to do. Just keep a good sharp blade in your rotary cutter and keep slashing away! :)

I did one last year ... and can see doing it other times!
