    I think they are both gorgeous. Rather than worrying about seams matching, next time make your strips different widths so they intentionally are not supposed to match.

    Looks good to me, they won't care about points, will just love to get them. Maybe they seams aren't a consistent size. Just a thought.

    I love them - especially the second one. I'm not sure though that I understand what was supposed to be wrong with it?? Looks great to me, and I am sure it will look great to the lucky recipient too.
