Hey everyone, I got one last year and I'm already wearing out the decals. That's how much I'm using it. I'm not going to worry about the finish. It came in perfect condition!

I saw someone selling replacement decals for featherweights the other day online when I was looking for replacement decals for a Singer 66. I am looking for Red eye decals as well as the Centennial (I think that is the machine that I got on Saturday). Still learning all this stuff. ;-)

I know they sell decals on Ebay for one, but I'm also wearing a bit of the paint!!! It's right on the edge between the decal and the front (if that makes sense)
I have not seen decals for the 66 anywhere but maybe Billy (lostn51) would know.
    Thanks!

My featherweight and I are both antiques, born in 41. Have to admit she is in much better condition than I. You won't be sorry if you get one. They are great little machines.

I too was born in 1943 and unfortunately no machines were made during the years 1942 thru1946 in the United States. There were some machines made in Scotland but skipped 1942-1946 also. The war must have stopped the making of these wonderful machines since they were all metal. Now I have to decide if I want a machine a few years younger than me or go with a machine several years older than me. It won't make a lot of difference because I love all of these little machines but how nice to have one on your birth year.
