    Wow, that's gorgeous!!!!!!!! Whenever I see that type I always think of something like circles, swirls etc for the quilting.

    Thanks ... the way the light was catching it ... part of the quilt looked the same and part as though you'd used assorteds. I have the pattern though, never quite sure which fabrics to use for it. So it waits!

    Lovely quilt!

    How would you rate the difficulty of this pattern? My parents' 40th wedding anniversary is later this year and I would like to make them a quilt for a gift, but I'm a new quilter and not yet ready to tackle a double wedding ring. Would you think this would be accessible to a beginner?
